Grant Stabbed, Pregnant Woman Dies: Published reports indicate that a shooting outside a Georgia night club has claimed the life of a pregnant woman and left Saints DE Charles Grant with a neck laceration.

Pokey's, a club in Blakely, Georgia, was the scene of a verbal fight that turned violent ending in gun shots that claimed the life of Korynda Reed, an innocent bystander who was five months pregnant, just after 1AM.

An investigation is underway. The killer is at large, no arrests have been made in the assault or the double murder. Investigators told an Alabama television station that there are routine calls for disturbances from the area to Pokey's and another bar, Club 92.

Grant was treated and released at Early Memorial Hospital. Blakely is in the southwest part of the state. Grant's involvement in this sad story is unknown, as is his relationship with Reed.

Grant has so far been questioned in the matter, but as a witness.

Grant signed a seven-year contract before the 2007 season after the Saints held him off the open market by using the franchise tag.

The Grey Cup champion and Most Outstanding Player winner made roughly 1/3 the salary he would collect if he signed a minimum-rate contract in the NFL, a deal worth at least $600k per season.... Reggie Bush partied with girlfriend Kim Kardashian and rappers LL Cool J, Snoop Dogg and Ludacris after the Super Bowl... The addition of Deuce McAllister's "The Deuce" sandwich to McAlister's Deli restaurant menus helped propel the chain to its best fiscal year in 2007.
