Saints WR Onome Ojo has returned to Europe and his NFL-E team, the Rhein Fire.
Ojo, a 5th round pick for the Saints in 2001, has been sidelined for nearly two months with a groin injury. Ojo has apparently recovered adequately from the injury, which was aggravated after being first injured during the 2002 regular season.
Ojo, 25 years old, a raw but athletically gifted prospect from small UC-Davis, missed two weeks of NFL-E action already. He joins five other Saints in Europe.
A seventh, RB James Fenderson, is still in the US with a knee injury. Fenderson may miss the entire NFL-E season, which ends in nine weeks with World Bowl X.
Ojo was inactive all 16 weeks of the Saints' 2002 season. He has been rehabbing the injury in New Orleans with the team. He is expected to be on the field for the Fire in Week 3, after practicing with them since this Tuesday.
