Saints Allocations in NFL Europe Week 8

WR Jimmy Robinson continued to be the go-to receiver for the Rhein Fire this weekend. In the Fire's 24-21 victory over the F.C. Barcelona Dragons, Robinson caught a team-high five passes for 47 yards. Teammate and fellow Saints allocation WR Onome Ojo also started at wide receiver, but Ojo did not register a reception. Ojo did how did play a big part in the game's victory, snagging a last-minute onside kickoff attempt and sealing the Fire victory.

Also playing for the Fire, Saints allocated P Dirk Johnson continued his excellent performance this season with four punts for a fantastic 49.5 yard average, including two downed inside the 20 and a 60-yard punt in the first quarter.

Saints-allocated G Jeff Chase saw some action for the Frankfurt Galaxy. Chase has been a reserve offensive lineman for the Galaxy all season long.

DE Jermaine Miles missed his second game in a row with an ankle injury. Miles, who will be competing for a roster spot this training camp, was a starter for the Amsterdam Admirals up until last weekend. Miles and RB James Fenderson, who has missed all the NFL Europe season so far with a knee injury, are the only injured Saints allocations.

DB Tim Carter and LB Jonathan Jackson both had big days for the Berlin Thunder in their defeat of the Scottish Claymores. Carter started at free safety, netting six solo tackles on defense, a pass defended and another tackle on special teams. Jackson started at strongside linebacker, where he has come on strong recently, collecting five tackles on defense, two solo, his first interception of the season, three passes defensed, and another tackle on special teams.
