Wally Williams, Cook, Stallworth Out vs. Miami

Saints head coach Jim Haslett indicated on Tuesday that all but a handful of players would play Thursday night in Miami against the Dolphins.

G Wally Williams, last year's starting left guard, "probably won't play" with a knee injury. Williams suffered the knee injury versus Houston and has had some swelling problems since then. He has not been practicing but has been riding an exercise bike. Williams is competing with free agent addition Kendyl Jacox for the starting left guard spot.

Haslett also noted that WR Donte Stallworth and T Shane Cook will also miss the game. Stallworth has been limited by a hamstring injury for the past two weeks, and Cook has been limited by a pectoral injury.

Also also noted that second-year fullback Moran Norris is questionable for the game with bruised ribs.

As noted earlier, RB Ricky Williams is expected to play after returning to practice this week. Williams has also been hampered by a hamstring injury for most of training camp.

Also noted previously, WR Joe Horn is expected to play Thursday night despite a minor knee injury. Horn went down early against the Texans last Saturday night after taking a heavy hit, but returned to practice on Monday.
