Round 4 - Pick 108 - Bloomsburg OL Jahri Evans - 6'4", 316, 5.26 40
Massive small-school prospect seems to have all the tools to make the transition from the lower-division collegiate ranks to the NFL . Evans is not a fantastic athlete but is built very well with long arms. While Evans takes a wide base he struggled against fast pass rushers at times, and seems to be nothing more than a right tackle prospect. He excels as a drive blocker but needs to improve functional strength - he was able to press 225 pounds only 20 times at the Combine. His overall conditioning will need to kick up a few gears for him to ever see NFL playing time.
Evans was durable and reliable, a Division II Coaches All-America Team starter for two years and a three-year starter. Is to become one of Doug Marrone's special projects, because Evans will require a lot of attention to be able to justify his fourth round pick status. Evans may end up a guard, considering his lack of mobility.
