- LT Jammal Brown did in fact have surgery on a sports hernia in Philadelphia. He is out "indefinitely". Brown had suffered lower abdomen pain through the offseason. He is at least out for the remainder of camp, and while he won't be placed on injured reserve immediately there's no really confident estimate of recovery out right now. Apparently the Saints are hopeful that he won't miss any regular season games, which would be a remarkable performance. UPDATE: Payton says the recovery time for Jammal Brown's surgery is 3-4 weeks.
- DE Charles Grant (hamstring), TE Billy Miller (knee), rookie safety Chip Vaughn (hamstring), WR D'Juan Woods (neck) did not make the trip.
- Paul Spicer will start at right end in place of Charles Grant, the same place he'll be on opening day against the Lions.
- DE Jeff Charleston (elbow), LB Scott Fujita (ribs) and WR Lance Moore (shoulder) are with the team but may or may not play, it will likely be a gametime decision.
- UPDATE: Reggie Bush will not play tonight.
- UPDATE: Out tonight: RB Reggie Bush, WR Lance Moore, CB Pearson Prioleau, S Chip Vaughn, LB Scott Fujita, LT Jammal Brown, TE Darnell Dinkins, TE Billy Miller, WR D'Juan Woods and DE Charles Grant. Troy Evans started in place of Fujita.
