- The Saints' churn at defensive tackle continues. The team has decided to sit down Kendrick Clancy for the season, placing him on injured reserve, because of a lingering knee injury that was aggravated during Monday night's victory over Atlanta.
The Saints have finally made the move to promote DT DeMario Pressley from the practice squad. Pressley, a fifth round pick last year, missed his rookie season with a foot injury and made the practice squad out of training camp this year.
It is apparent that neither mid-week tryout warranted a contract.
