Saints wait patiently until pick 64 and...

The Saints patiently waited through the second round of the draft as numerous linebackers and defensive linemen were plucked off the board.

They watched the rival Panthers take Notre Dame's touted QB Jimmy Clausen, and the Bucs get bigger at WR and DT.

Texas QB Colt McCoy dropped past every team, while his head coach Mack Brown awkwardly talked to the NFL Network set.

Some of the prospects we looked at in the first round dropped as well: USC DE Everson Griffen and Penn State LB Navorro Bowman.

Two linebackers left the board at 62 and 63, and between 52-57 it was six straight picks in the defensive front seven.
