Saints go for 3-0

The Saints host the Falcons today in their first NFC South matchup as the defending Super Bowl XLIV champions.

Both RB Ladell Betts and Chris Ivory are active today, the result of a mid-week runningback switch, with Reggie Bush out.  In Bush's place, Lance Moore is expected to return punts.

CB Randall Gay is out today after suffering a concussion early against the 49ers, and will be replaced in the lineup by rookie Patrick Robinson and veteran Leigh Torrence.  Rookie TE Jimmy Graham is also active today, joining fellows rookies Ivory and Robinson all making their debut today.

TE Jeremy Shockey, who picked up a thigh contusion in practice this week, is active.

Gay, Bush, S Usama Young, LB Anthony Waters, TE Tory Humphrey, WR Adrian Arrington and rookies T Charles Brown and DE Junior Galette are inactive.  Brown was likely bumped down the depth chart after a cardinal special teams sin - a false start on the game-winning field goal attempt on Monday night.

G Jahri Evans will be the Saints' team captain today, leading the "Who Dat!" chant from midfield when he raised and drops his arm at the coin toss.

For the Falcons, WR Michael Jenkins is inactive.  Louisiana native QB John Parker Wilson is Atlanta's emergency quarterback.
