Saints lose second year LB Arnoux to another Achilles injury

The Saints have placed LB Stanley Arnoux on injured reserve with another Achilles tendon injury.

He suffered the injury, similar to the one that ended his rookie season early on, against Seattle on Sunday.

Arnoux was a second round player and a fourth round pick out of Wake Forest in 2009.  He had appeared in nine games this season, mostly on special teams, with five recorded tackles and a forced fumble.

Taking his place on the 53-man roster is QB Sean Canfield, who was promoted from the practice squad.  It is possible, and with precedent, that the Saints would cut Canfield before Thursday's game to make room for depth at another position.
