Postseason injury report full of young players

Sean Payton updated the injury status of some key players in his final press conference.

The coach's report detailed injuries to key young emerging stars on the roster at runningback, tight end and free safety.

Pierre Thomas this week will be seeing a foot and ankle specialist for his injury that spoiles his season. The same specialist, Dr Robert Anderson in Charlotte, NC, will also be performing a lisfranc surgery on Chris Ivory to fix the issue that ended his season.

Malcolm Jenkins is still suffering from swelling from a Week 17 kneecap bruise. Continued rehab will determine whether or not surgery will be required.

Rehab is also what lies ahead for Jimmy Graham's ankle injury and Reggie Bush's continued recovery from a Week 2 broken leg. Payton said that Bush would be out for 2-3 weeks if there were games left to play.
