More additions: Hall, Johnson, Gay

The Saints exited the lockout with roughly half the 90-man training camp roster limit under contract.  The re-signings and additions have been fast and furious the past 96 hours.

More additions follow, though contracts cannot be actually signed until Friday afternoon:

FB Korey Hall, 27, 6'0, 236, is a special teamer who excelled for the Super Bowl XLV champion Packer last season.  Four years out of Boise State, Hall is a collegiate linebacker who the Packers drafted in the sixth round of the 2007 draft and converted to fullback.  Playing mostly on special teams, Hall has 21 career receptions but no rushing attempts as a lead blocker.  Hall had 15 special teams tackles last season and is a fiery, dauntless, old fashioned football player.  With Heath Evans still an unrestricted free agent, the Saints may have decided to replace him with Hall, who has 26 starts in four seasons.

DE Curtis Johnson, 26, a journeyman in his fourth year out of Clark Atlanta, was added on Friday.  Having played for the Colts, Cowboys and Rams, Johnson has one career sack and five total tackles in 10 game appearances.  At 6'3, 254, he has been listed as defensive end or a linebacker by his past teams.

G Dan Gay, 24, 6'4, 303, a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, was added on Friday.  Gay, who entered the league undrafted in 2009 and has yet to appear in a game, began his collegiate career at Baylor as a defensive tackle, moving to the offensive line in his third year and playing all five positions.
