Inactives for the Saints are backup center/guard Matt Tennant, newly-signed TE John Gilmore, placekicker Garrett Hartley (hip injury), WR Lance Moore (groin injury), RB Joique Bell, rookie CB Johnny Patrick, and offeseason free agent addition DT Tom Johnson.
The Saints have five wide receivers active, meaning that WR Adrian Arrington will dress in only his second NFL game.
Active tonight for the Saints are two new fullbacks, Jed Collins and former Packer Korey Hall, and two tight ends, Jimmy Graham and David Thomas, a new twist for their offensive lineup which usually features one and three, respectively. Three runningbacks are active, Pierre Thomas, rookie Mark Ingram and free agent arrival Darren Sproles.
Appearing in their first games as Saints are undrafted rookie safety Isa Abdul-Quddus, the most unlikely Saint in uniform tonight, and the tangible product of the Reggie Bush trade- safety Jonathon Amaya.
The prize of the free agent market, starting defensive tackle Aubrayo Franklin, is healthy and will make his first start as a Saint, starting aside Sedrick Ellis. A long-time Packer adversary as a Bear, new starting center Olin Kreutz is also in the black and gold for the first time.
Also active in their first games as Saints are Hartley's replacement K John Kasay, reserve DT Mitch King, first round picks Ingram and DE Cameron Jordan, free agent addition DE Turk McBride, backup G Brian de la Puente, and linebackers Will Herring and rookie Martez Wilson.
Kasay is wearing jersey #2, a new number for him after 19 seasons spent in jersey #4.
Meanwhile, a springboard for the Saints' Super Bowl XLIV run, veteran safety Darren Sharper is on the sidelines as a special guest of the Saints. Rookie Abdul-Quddus is wearing Sharper's #42 jersey.
Inactive for the Packers are CB Davon House, DB M.D. Jennings, LB Frank Zombo, OL Derek Sherrod, TE Ryan Taylor, DE Mike Neal and LB Vic So'oto.
