One-time, short-time Saint cornerback Glenn Sharpe was arrested three days ago in DeKalb County, Georgia for murder.
A short-lived NFL career has not seen Sharpe play in a game, but most notable is that Sharpe was signed by the Saints to their practice squad on January 12, 2010 during the Saints' Super Bowl XLIV run.
Sharpe is accused of shooting a man three times in Stone Mountain, Georgia on February 20.
Sharpe was with the team through their June minicamp, though he was unable to practice. The Saints waived him on June 21, 2010. Undrafted out of the University of Miami, Sharpe originally signed with the Falcons in 2009.
