Saints To Join Draft Party Tonight

The Saints will join in the NFL's draft fun tonight with the 89th overall pick, late in the third round.

The draft, which restarts at 6pmCT, will go through the second and third rounds tonight.  The fourth round begins tomorrow at 11amCT through the conclusion of the draft, when the Saints are set to pick in each of the last four rounds.

Look out tonight for these Louisiana football program prospects: LSU products including WR Rueben Randle, CB Ron Brooks, and S Brandon Taylor, McNeese State DB Janzen Jackson, Louisiana-Lafayette CB Dwight Bentley and TE Ladarius Green.

Pay attention to a trio from the University of California, including LB Mychal Kendricks, DL Trevor Guyton, and OG Mitchell Schwartz, all could be off the clock tonight, and all could be targets for the Saints.

In our final full Saints mock draft, we picked the Saints taking Guyton.

These interior linemen could be available targets at 89: Georgia's Ben Jones, Michigan's David Molk, BYU's Matt Reynolds, Wake Forest's Joe Looney, Utah's Tony Bergstrom.  Though we expect the Saints to pick defense considering the looming bounty scandal suspensions, interior offensive line is one of the Saints' needs.

Other players the Saints hope will drop: North Carolina LB Zach Brown, Penn State DT Devon Still, Georgia CB Brandon Boykin, Texas LB Keenan Robinson, Miami LB Sean Spence, Boise State DT Billy Winn, Coastal Carolina CB Josh Norman, Florida State CB Mike Harris, Boise State S George Iloka, Arizona State CB Omar Bolden, Utah State LB Bobby Wagner, Washington DT Alameda Ta'amu.
