WR Lance Moore, Three Others Ruled Out

Valuable, versatile WR Lance Moore has been ruled out of the Saints' home matchup against the San Diego Chargers with a new hamstring injury, a hole in the sputtering Saints offense that can't really be filled, only substituted.  Starters will be Marques Colston, himself battling a foot injury, and Devery Henderson, already hit this season with concussion.

With Moore out, Colston is the only wide receiver available with a catch in all four games this season.

Next man up is second year speedster Joe Morgan, journeyman Greg Camarillo and special teams gunner Courtney Roby.  Morgan made a big splash with only his second NFL catch, an 80-yard catch and outrun in Green Bay that gave the Saints a transient lead late in last Sunday's close loss to the Packers.  But Morgan himself is listed as questionable with a knee injury.

Camarillo was re-signed by the team on Wednesday, when the team released CB Elbert Mack to make room.  That was the third time the Saints have signed Camarillo in the last 44 days, cutting him twice before.

Aside from Moore, the Saints will be without undrafted rookie RB Travaris Cadet, which may mean Chris Ivory will be in a jersey on Sunday.  Cadet has been ruled out of the game with a shoulder injury.

LB David Hawthorne miss his second straight game with a hamstring injury, and DE Turk McBride will miss his fourth straight game with an ankle problem.  SS Roman Harper (hip) and WLB Jonathan Casillas (neck and knee) are listed as questionable on the team's final injury report on Friday.
