Kudos to the Saints for having such talent on their staff that everyone wants a piece of it. Carmichael and Reiprish are way overqualified for their current positions, but I think they'll be missed the most when they're gone if Saints don't make it worth their while to stay.

I hope the 49ers get fined for that helmet-to-helmet hit on Thomas in the first drive. That totally melted the Saints who weren't able to turn the game around soon enough to build their typical huge lead. It was a very exciting game and one I was sad to be on the losing end of. And to think, the Saints lost DESPITE my wearing my Saints Santa Claus hat!

BLOWN CALL? Those officials should be investigated for attempting to fix the game. The sack affected the pass, which means, by definition, the ball was still in Newton's hands when contact was made. The refs were nearly successful in costing the Saints the game.
