Saints 2012 Opponents Set

The playoffs aren't done, but the opponent scheduling formula is set based on the finishing order of the divisions from the previous year.

So we know who the Saints will be playing in 2012, just not when.

Aside from home-home series with their three NFC South opponents, the Saints will play the Eagles, Redskins, 49ers, Chiefs and Chargers at home in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.  The Saints will travel to play the Cowboys, Giants, Packers, Broncos and Raiders.

That means a potential for two snowy-weather games, and long road trips to each coast for the Saints.

That will be the first regular season visits for AFC West opponents in a while: Kansas City hasn't visited the Superdome since 2004 and the Chargers haven't play in the Superdome since 1997. The Saints haven't visited Oakland since 2004.
